Birdaday is Phillip Augusta’s daily blog, which typically is a photograph and a blurb, sharing some of my adventures while photographing birds for the next Phillip’s Fetching Birds calendar. Follow Birdaday here or like it on Facebook.

Most of the birds you’ll see here were photographed in Southern Maine or Seacoast New Hampshire as they are my most frequent haunts, but not always. Some images will come from other parts of New England, the Canadian Maritimes, and anywhere else I happen to travel. The center of my birding world is a little rocky spit of land called Seapoint, flanked on either side with sandy and cobble beaches, and surrounded by salt marsh, not far from my home in Kittery Point, Maine.
